Forged of Sword and Steel
Death is the final crossing. But for those bound to the moon that rules it, is it ever truly the end?
In the wake of the Veil’s upheaval, Celestia stands on unsteady ground. Hunters of magic rise with renewed fervor, and the laws that once kept such power in check begin to fray. The kingdoms are beckoned toward a realm few are prepared to face.
Though the moons marked her in their alignment, fate offers no comfort. Artema finds her rest slipping further with each passing day. For every step she takes forward, the absence of Orion pulls her purpose into question.
With a new mentor whose flint-tongued guidance reveals there is far more to her necromancy than she ever believed, Artema devotes her days to honing her magic and her nights to chasing answers the kingdoms would prefer to keep buried.
As a Queen rises and the path before her narrows, Artema must reckon with shifting loyalties, trusting that the bonds she forges—old and new—will hold fast when the world does not.
But loyalty in a waning age demands a price. And not everyone is willing to pay it.
